Striker Eduardo da Silva has overcome the small injury experienced just before the match against Celtic on Tuesday and is now available for selection for the match on Saturday.
Arsenal take on Portsmouth in the resumption of their domestic campaign, currently lying in third position after having played one game less than table toppers Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Eduardo had Arsenal fans worried when it was announced that he had made way for young Jack Wilshere due to injury. Suffering a tight groin injury, the team sheet was quickly amended just after the warm-up. But apart from Eduardo, there were no other injuries from the club's bruising encounter against their Scottish counterparts.
Speaking to the official site, manager Arsène Wenger said: "Eduardo had a tight groin in the warm-up and he felt he could not play. He had no power and we had to change [the teamsheet] quickly.
"I don't believe we have anyone injured from Tuesday night's game at Celtic. Eduardo I believe will be back in contention but Theo Walcott will not be back at all. Rosicky, Djourou, Nasri, Fabianski - they will all be out.
"There is a slight concern [over Walcott's back injury] but we believe it is a question of days and not of weeks.
"We will see [if he is fit to face Manchester United next Saturday]. It is always difficult to set a date. I thought he would be available for Celtic, I thought he would be available for Everton, but he wasn't. That's why we will be cautious."
