Interview with Absolute Radio

Absolute Radio interviewed writer Paul Williams, asking for his thoughts on the new season and how the team have fared since their opening day demolishing of Everton.

That interview has been included in the Absolute Radio Rock and Roll Sports podcast, and Paul's bit is at around 7 minutes and 50 seconds after the start. Paul also commented on the lack of players coming in, and how the departures of Kolo Touré and Emmanuel Adebayor have (or haven't) affected the team.

You can listen to the entire show, or skip to Paul's interview, using the player at the bottom of the page. Simply click the play icon and the show will start streaming. We're hoping to be having more interviews such as these so keep a lookout on the site. Alternatively, you can subscribe to Absolute Radio from their site or via iTunes.

Stats, and more stats!

Some of you are already aware that we've been collecting statistics about the team for a few years now. We've started to include statistics on the matches played (possession, shots on goal, etc.) into articles that relate to specific matches, for example this one from the Portsmouth game. Look at the sidebar on the right of the page for information on who started, who got booked, who scored goals (and how many) and much more.

We're looking to improve our statistics with more in-depth stats such as pass completion rates. If there are any statophiles out there who want to help out and contribute, please get in touch.
