Midfielder Andrey Arshavin is reportedly out of the next two club matches, against Manchester City and Standard Liege. However, winger Tomas Rosicky has returned to competitive action.
Sky Sports understands that Arshavin aggravated a groin injury he had been carrying when he was rushed back into action for Russia against Wales.
Whilst he played a key role in his country's 3-1 win, manager Arsène Wenger will not be happy at having one of his key players come back injured from international duty.
On reflection, the game against Standard Liege might not be a big deal, but it's a loss to have him not play against City.
Meanwhile, after being out injured since January 2008, Rosicky played 56 minutes in his country's match against San Marino.
The Czech Republic ran out 7-0 winners, and will most likely be included in the squad this weekend.
