Injury news ahead of Man City - Fab4 as well?

There have been a few plus and minuses ahead of the weekend's match against Manchester City. The biggest talking point is that of forward Andrey Arshavin, who has been ruled out of action for two weeks with a groin injury.

It remains to be seen if captain Francesc Fabregas, who was injured at the start of the international week but played in Spain's last match, has also returned to London Colney okay.

However, winger Tomas Rosicky has finally returned to competitive action after being out of action since January 2008, but it's still too early to say if he would be included in the squad to face City.

Theo Walcott's shoulder injury looks to have cleared up as well.

Wenger said: "Tomas played 54 minutes in good shape. Of course we have to be cautious. But the good news is he is back and he played. I don't know if he'll be in the squad for Saturday.

"Fabregas played [for Spain] but I have not actually seen him yet. One of the discomforts of the international break is that you don't know when your players will come back or what state they will be in.

"Theo is rid of the injury now. What is important now is to get him competitive again.

"He has not had any normal training sessions with the team. But I hope that will happen soon. He should be available next week."

We're hearing rumours that Fabregas will not be fit to make the squad against City either. Looking at our options, we should be able to get a good result without him, but with Arshavin also injured, you have to wonder where the creativity in the side will come from.

We will be providing updates on the squad when we get more information, check back soon.
