Winger Tomas Rosicky is confident that his overall game can still improve after returning to competitive action since January of last year.
The Czech Republic international has looked fit and sharp in the last two matches he's played in against Manchester City and Standard Liege.
Rosicky also scored a consolation goal in the 4-2 defeat against City, and to be fair, did look sharp as well in the Emirates Cup when he had a goal disallowed for straying marginally offside.
He said: "I am not anywhere near my best, and still have plenty of room to improve. I will get better.
"It is difficult when you are out for such a long time. But when you play, you just have to forget that. I am just enjoying being back. I am fit and itching to play football again.
"We started very badly against Liege and looked very shaky. It is not easy when players run behind the ball as Liege did. But you have to believe in the style you are playing. If you do not believe, you cannot turn a game like this.
"We know that inside we are strong enough to turn games, and that is what we proved in Liege.
"We knew that after the two defeats in Manchester we needed a result. The performance in Liege will help with the confidence. It is really satisfying when you can turn a match around like this."
With a number of forward players out injured, including Samir Nasri and Andrey Arshavin, the onus is on Rosicky and Francesc Fabregas to drive and support the attackers upfront.
