Winger Tomas Rosicky has promised to do his best to win a trophy for Arsenal fans, ending their four year trophy drought.
The Czech international has been hampered by niggling injuries and has only just returned to first-team action since January 2008.
And Rosicky has every intention of repaying the patience shown by Arsenal fans during his recovery period.
He said: "It was a great feeling when I came back and I got a great reception from the fans.
"I am fired up to win a trophy and enjoying being back. It's good that I can be part of this team again.
"If you are out for so long, like I was, it is very frustrating. But that is behind me already and I am just enjoying the time I am fit.
"The boss has another option with me in the creative part of the game and he still has (Samir) Nasri to come back. Offensively we are very strong and I can help with that.
"I have to take things step by step. I played an hour for the national team, then 30 minutes at Manchester City and now 70 minutes here. I have to improve in fitness to be back where I was before and I still have work to do."
With offensive players such as Theo Walcott and Samir Nasri out injured, Rosicky's return is a welcome boost for manager Arsène Wenger, who faces a shortage of attacking players for this weekend's clash against Wigan Athletic.
