Manager Arsène Wenger has said that he will definitely be fielding a young side against West Bromwich Albion tonight in the Carling Cup.
As always, a young side will be blooded into first team action during these early rounds, should the side progress further.
But it won't be a complete ensemble of young players - senior players such as Philippe Senderos and Mikael Silvestre will be present as well.
Wenger said: "You will see Wojciech Szczęsny, [Aaron] Ramsey, [Kieran] Gibbs, [Jack] Wilshere and certainly [Carlos] Vela. [Armand] Traoré will also play.
"Some experienced players will guide the team like Senderos and Silvestre. But overall it will be a very, very young team as usual."
Vela, Wilshere and Ramsey? You have to feel confident that our name will be in the hat for the next round.
