There has been some concern in the Gooner community with regards to the way captain Francesc Fabregas celebrated his goal against Wigan Athletic over the weekend.
Many are of the opinion that the midfielder's demeanour suggested his mind was already thinking about pastures anew, and with interest from Barcelona growing, you can see why some would think that. But the truth is a bit less worrying.
Fabregas had experienced one too many rough tackles during the match, as Wigan sought to overpower the Arsenal midfield physically. He couldn't celebrate his goal as much as he wanted to because he was in a bit of pain.
Speaking in his programme notes against West Brom, the Spaniard said: "I was pleased to get on the scoresheet myself at the end of Saturday's game, although I did not celebrate that much.
"I'd had a kick during the game and was still feeling a bit of pain - I'd found it hard work to get around for ten minutes or so and asked Alex Song to move forward a little while I stayed back, although it improved in the last five."
I think that scoring the fourth goal in a match that was already won wasn't that exciting to begin with, but it's nice to hear the captain address these concerns from the fans.
