Wenger on Bendtner's improvement and Adebayor

Manager Arsène Wenger has said that he's happy with the improvement shown by striker Nicklas Bendtner.

Bendtner is a player that has divided many Arsenal fans who are still unsure if the Danish international is good enough for the club, and the problem got even more compounded when he was deployed as a right winger.

There is definitely still room for improvement in the young Dane's game, especially his movement off the ball and finishing.

Wenger said: "Since the beginning of the season I'm very happy with him. So far he has played in many games, performed and improved.

"He is a player who will improve every year. Nicklas is a good size and is a very pacy player considering his size. He has an intelligent game with good vision.

"He needs to improve his movement and his finishing. And he will do that."

Wenger also says that the problems with Manchester City Emmanuel Adebayor are a closed issue for the club, and that it is something to be dealt with by the Football Association.

Wenger added: "It is not my problem. I have no influence on that and we have to accept their decision."
