Midfielder Fran Merida has admitted that his future at the club is as yet still undecided, despite his current deal expiring in June 2010.
Arsenal have a habit of renewing player contracts late so this may not come as a surprise (nor does it indicate that Merida is a priority) but despite reports claiming that Merida is leaving the club, the Spaniard says that everything is still undecided.
News reports suggest that Spanish club Atletico Madrid have secured Merida's signature, which seem to be a complete fabrication.
Merida said: "This is news to make me content but I have a deal signed with Arsenal until June 2010 and I still have not decided my future.
"I have not accepted the offer from Arsenal for five more seasons but this does not change things. I want to study the situation calmly and decide what is best.
