Midfielder Francesc Fabregas has said that he wasn't particularly worried in the match against Birmingham City with the amount of missed opportunities from his team.
Arsenal dominated the first half and could have killed off the match then, but managed two goals before allowing Birmingham to get back into the match.
It was a tense second half as City threw everything they had forward in search of an equaliser, and the team had lost their incisive passing rhythm at this stage.
Fabregas says that despite these tense moments, he was confident that the team would find the goal that would seal the three points, and substitute Andrey Arshavin eventually scored a well-taken goal.
The 22-year-old said: "Even if the chances were not going in, I was not worried because you could see the focus of the players.
"Sometimes when things do not go so well for you, it can get into your head and you do not play your normal game.
"As a result, eventually the goals came. "There are so many players who can make the difference, and it has always been like that since I have been here.
"We have to keep doing that - be strong going forward while also defending as a team. We need the balance."
