Clichy: A draw isn't so bad

Defender Gaël Clichy has said that the two points dropped against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be.

Arsenal were in control for most of the match and were leading 1-0 until a defensive error gifted Alkmaar an equaliser in the 93rd minute.

However, the Gunners still remain top of their group with 7 points from 3 games, and if we win our remaining home games we will most certainly qualify for the next stage of the competition.

Clichy said: "It is a big disappointment to lose two points in the last seconds.

"But maybe before the game, people would have said 1-1 could have been a good result.

"There are a lot of positives from the game and we have to look [at those] for the next game.

"I thought defensively, as a unit, we played well. We are still first [in Group H] and need one more win.

"At the end of the day when you look back, 1-1 is not a bad result."
