Out-of-favour defender Philippe Senderos has admitted that he may seek a change of clubs this winter as he is not getting regular playing time at Arsenal.
The Swiss international has been lumped with Mikael Silvestre as the club's second choice pairing, with appearances being limited to Carling Cup and possibly FA Cup matches.
Manager Arsène Wenger is also unlikely to change a successful partnership of William Gallas and Thomas Vermaelen.
However, with Gallas being 10 years Vermaelen's senior, you have to wonder whether the club's long-term centre-back pairing is Senderos and Vermaelen.
But Senderos is not willing to stick around to find out, especially with the small matter of a World Cup next year.
He said: "I need to seek a solution as I'm not playing for Arsenal. A change of clubs in winter is an option – I am keeping all doors open.
"This is a difficult time. It is like a test that I have to come through, but I believe in God and have to stay strong."
