Gibbs is missing for Chelsea and quite likely Gallas. That's a whole chunk taken out of the defence against a very good goal-scoring team. You might as well give Chelsea a goal start.

But this week, Wenger changed his public approach with the team. He reminded them that it was not about potential anymore; they could do it if they wanted to, RIGHT NOW. It all depended on if they wanted to right now or were happy waiting.

Against Liege, Wenger allowed Arshavin and Fabregas to suffer on the pitch as a response to the Sunderland game. They were both finished by 70mins but he didn't sub them. It was statement: the game now is always the most important thing. I felt sorry for Fabregas and Arshavin – they could barely run.

Rosicky was dropped. He sucked against Sunderland and did not really improve on coming on against Liege. Rosicky must take more responsibility on the ball. He is one of the most senior players and it is not an option for him to take the ball and keep passing it to less gifted and younger players who are surrounded or not driving forward. He needs to do what Arshavin does because he is capable of it.

Good news though that Denilson is back. Denilson is 21. Yes he is only 21. Arsenal fans should be more proud of this player. He is a fantastically efficient and simple player who is very smart too.

Chelsea is a completely winnable game even with our injuries. Chelsea have already created a decent buffer for January when Essien and Drogba are in Africa. Chelsea will play differently in January but Ancellotti will want to win on Sunday because it knocks back a rival and gives his January team even more room.

For Arsenal, the injuries don't matter. It's all about how much they want it. If Arsenal really want it, Chelsea will not be able to stop Fabregas, Arshavin, Nasri, Walcott, Eboue or Vela. If Arsenal really want it, the injuries will not matter. Chelsea have a superiority and experience complex now and that is worth about one goal to their favour even before the ball is kicked. If Arsenal show up, fight and test them, that complex will crumble quickly and that could be worth about 2 goals to Arsenal. Confidence is easy to lose and hard to regain.

It is actually very easy to break Chelsea's fluency because they don't rely on it, but it is much harder to break their team entirely and their game. Arsenal's fluency is Arsenal's game. Arsenal never has a plan B so on Sunday they will literally have to FORCE their fluency and game on Chelsea. I think if Arsenal do that, Chelsea will not cope with it that well.

I figure Wenger might put Sagna at left back and Eboue at right back with Silvestre alongside Vermaelen. The forward line, as far as I am concerned can stay as it was against Liege. Eduardo did not do well at Sunderland but Arshavin wasn't there. He might do better against Chelsea.

Fingers crossed but only guts and passion will do on Sunday!
