The Iceman hints at Emirates return

Arsenal legend and former Dutch international Dennis Bergkamp has hinted to manager Arsène Wenger that he would be interested in a coaching role at the Emirates.

Bergkamp, known as 'God' or the 'Iceman', retired in 2006 and some would argue that he is the game's best foreign import, having scored so many beautiful goals in his Arsenal career.

Gooners worldwide have been dreaming of Bergkamp (and Tony Adams) returning to Arsenal in a coaching capacity, and now the Dutchman says he is open to such a suggestion.

Bergkamp, who still watches Arsenal games when he can, said: "I want to work and train a team in England.

"Not as a head coach but instead as a member of staff, where I could work specifically with the strikers.

"Being a coach means you have to work 24 hours a day and that does not suit me.

"You have to watch matches at home, travel to see other teams, prepare training - it is something that I am not ready to do."
