Russian international Andrey Arshavin has admitted the team needs to be better at defending set pieces, emphasising that there is a height disadvantage within the team.
The 'magician' also highlighted that since injury to leading striker Robin van Persie, the side have struggled for goals and haven't scored in their last three domestic games, an alarming decline as we had been averaging almost 3 per game.
But the club's most expensive purchase this year has reassured Arsenal fans that the right candidate to get the club out of their losing streak is manager Arsène Wenger, and that they should continue to have faith in his decision-making.
Arshavin said: "The fact that we have lost against out direct rivals this season signifies that we are not very good.
"We played good football, but that is not enough. We score a lot of goals, but we always let in one or more.
"We are not good on set pieces, and that is bound up with the fact that we don't have many tall players.
"Every other team has an advantage over us in this area. Chelsea were much stronger than us when it came to physical power.
"Had we possessed a tall player, things would have been better for us, especially in attack. We had nobody capable of holding on to the ball.
"What can we, and must we, change? Only Arsène Wenger knows."
