Following comments from midfielder Jack Wilshere on Monday that perhaps the best way for him to learn his trade was to go out on-loan, manager Arsène Wenger confirmed that it is something he was indeed considering.
Wilshere, who has featured mostly in Carling Cup matches this season, will now see his first team opportunities limited due to the club's exit from said competition last week.
But Wilshere also mentioned that should he go out on-loan, it would have to be to another Premiership club.
Wenger said: "There is a chance [of a loan move for Wilshere] if we have an interesting opportunity.
"I would prefer [it to be] in the Premier League but a top-level Championship club would be interesting as well.
"It is important for Jack now to play and if we find a good opportunity we will consider it."
