Captain Cesc Fabregas has revealed that half-time 'kick up the backside' by manager Arsène Wenger inspired the team to go on and win the match against Liverpool.
Arsenal were losing 1-0 to a determined Liverpool before a Glen Johnson own-goal and an Andrey Arshavin winner sealed the three points.
To be fair, we never really looked like we were going to get a result and to go in at half-time only 1-0 up was not a fair reflection of Liverpool's performance.
Fabregas said: "The boss screamed. I've never seen him like that before.
"He was really disappointed in the first half and said we didn't deserve to wear the Arsenal shirt if we played like that.
"And I think he was right. In the second half we turned it round. There is still a long way to go.
"The Premier League is more open than ever, you can beat any team and I like it that way.''
