Arsène Wenger admits his side's attitude was not quite up to scratch in the 1-1 draw with Burnley last night.
Wenger's strong words at half-time against Liverpool have attracted a lot of media attention this week, with his angry words proving a catalyst for Arsenal's comeback at Anfield.
But with lacklustre Arsenal taking only a point from a supposedly easier game, it seems Wenger was not quite able to motivate his players again.
"The most difficult part was to start well and be 1-0 up," said the boss. "After that we became a little bit easy."
"They played a committed cup game. The second half was us dominating without really being decisive.
"They only played with counter-attacks but they did it very well. They gave everything tonight. They had the right attitude and commitment. They did not have a moment where they lost focus."
Skipper and goalscorer Cesc Fabregas limped off in the first half, and according to Wenger will miss the Hull game this weekend.
"He is injured but for how long I don't know," said the Frenchman. "It is a hamstring. He will not play on Saturday."
