Diaby: We have slipped up in the title race

Midfielder Abou Diaby admits that he's disappointed with the side's draw last night against Burnley, meaning that we've slipped further behind Chelsea in the title race.

The result is even more frustrating given the fact that Arsenal took the lead, but have failed yet again to maintain a clean sheet in a game of significant importance.

After winning at Liverpool, it seemed the perfect platform to build on and reduce the points gap between ourselves and the leaders.

Diaby said: "Burnley are a good team. We knew at home they are very strong and it would be difficult to beat them. They showed against good sides that they can play and they did that last night.

"We missed our chances to kill the game and at the end we drew so we are very disappointed. I don't think it was a penalty for them but what can we do?

"We have to get closer to Chelsea and catch them and that is why we're so disappointed that we couldn't take another step and we lost some points. It is very frustrating."
