Midfielder Denilson has said that it is his dream to be able to go to the World Cup and play for Brazil, but his priority is to do well for Arsenal.
Whilst Denilson has captained his country at Under-15 and Under-20 levels, he has not yet been called up to the senior team.
He is hoping to put that right and win a place in the squad for the
2010 World Cup in South Africa.
The young Brazilian also recently signed a new contract with the club, and is very much a part of manager Arsène Wenger's plans.
Denilson said: "It is my dream to play in the World Cup and get the opportunity to play for Brazil.
"I was speaking about it last week to Brazilian TV and I said to them that all I am doing is working for my team - Arsenal.
"Arsenal pay me, they respect me, and if I can do well here, and stay in the team, score goals, then I know the opportunity will come with Brazil.
"I dream to be at the World Cup, but I haven't heard anything at all about it.
"If I don't go I will support them," he added, "but also England. I think it might happen that we see a Brazil v England Final.
"That would be perfect, because I feel a little bit English now. Since first watching the Arsenal team of Vieira, Bergkamp, Henry and Píres in about 2002 I have wanted to play in England, so I'm very happy to be here and I would like to be here a long time.
"I have just signed a new contract, my future is at this club and I'm delighted about that."
