Manager Arsène Wenger has urged his team to be more consistent if they want to be considered as serious title contenders.
Three teams seem to be breaking away from the rest of the pack with only three points separating the top three, though Manchester United have played a game more.
Arsenal missed a good opportunity to go within one point of leaders Chelsea when they drew against Everton last weekend. Fourth placed Manchester City, currently on 38 points, are only 4 points behind Arsenal.
Wenger is now urging his team to be more consistent and to increase the number of wins, as there is a possibility they could either be overtaken or be left behind in the title race.
He said: "Of course, I am happy that we are close in this title race, but you could see from the Everton match that every game is difficult and as soon as you drop your level a little bit, you are in danger.
"That is what happened to us. We did not find the speed in our passing to get Everton out of position, and they did very well."
