Defender Philippe Senderos has confirmed that he is indeed looking to leave the club in the January transfer window in order to get some regular football.
The Swiss international is hoping to be fit for the World Cup and has yet to make more than a couple of appearance for the club this season.
With the potential signing of former player Sol Campbell, Senderos' chances of first team action look a bit slimmer, and is an indication that Wenger is not willing to play the Swiss.
Senderos said: "I want to go, I want and need to be playing ahead of the World Cup.
"I don't want to play in the reserves, I just want to go."
It was originally thought that Senderos was injured and therefore not being available for solution, but he stresses that he is now "100% fit".
