Winger Tomas Rosicky has said that him and his team mates are definitely up for a title fight after overtaking Chelsea and occupying top spot in the league.
Rosicky himself played a crucial role in the team's comeback from two goals down against Bolton Wanderers, scoring the first of four goals.
The Czech Republic international is well aware that nothing has been won and that the hard work actually starts now, with having to maintain their position in the league whilst still having to play their closest challengers.
He said: "We are definitely up for the title.
"I think everybody knows that the coming weeks are the critical ones in the whole season and I would say the win over Bolton came right on time for the team. For the confidence of the team, it is absolutely great.
"I think the togetherness in this side is very good. If you don't have this, you don't turn games around. It is very important that this characteristic is in the team.
"Since the loss against Chelsea we started something new again and went on a run. You can see how quickly it can change in this league.
"Chelsea didn't win a few games after winning here. You have to be consistent and that's what we want to be.
"It shows that this team is very strong and we have mental strength and that is great.
"If we can turn games like this it shows that this team can achieve something big.
"Everybody can see we are contenders. It is nice to be on top but there is a very long way to go."
