Winger Andrey Arshavin says that it's getting increasingly more difficult to believe that this Arsenal side can win the Premiership, especially after yesterday's 3-1 defeat to Manchester United.
It was a disappointing sight for the Emirates faithful as goalkeeper Manuel Almunia helped United to a 1-0 lead, before Wayne Rooney and Park Ji-Sung made it 3-0. A consolation effort by Thomas Vermaelen made no difference to an embarrassing scoreline.
Arsenal now need to win against Chelsea this weekend to have a chance of even staying in the title race.
Arshavin said: "It is getting even harder to believe that we can win first place after such defeats.
"I divide the games with Aston Villa, Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool into two parts - the first part has been held, there are still two more games, I hope we will conduct them better."
