Manager Arsène Wenger has said that there is a possibility of striker Robin van Persie returning before the end of the season.
The Dutch international suffered a serious injury that was thought would take six months to fully recover, but van Persie is making good progress and could start fitness training at the start of April.
It's fair to say that the team have been struggling to score goals since van Persie got injured, with Wenger admitting that the team had to find a 'new balance' in attack.
But if van Persie could return for the season's run-in, let's hope that the rich vein of form that earned him 7 goals from 11 appearances continues.
Wenger said: "If you ask me is it the beginning of April, I would say categorically no because he has not started any real fitness work yet.
"Once he starts that, it will take at least six weeks.
"Maybe (he will be back) at the end of April if all goes well. If there is no setback, he should be back before the end of the season but it is very difficult to predict."
