Striker Nicklas Bendtner was the toast of North London last night as he scored his first professional hat-trick to help us through to the next round of the Champions League.
The Danish international, criticised on Saturday for missing several gilt-edged chances against Burnley, proved his doubters wrong with a performance worthy of the Man of the Match award. Goals from Samir Nasri and Emmanuel Eboue sealed the 5-0 win.
And now Bendtner says that we have the capability to go all out and win Europe's premier footballing competition.
He said: "This will give us a lot of confidence. We want to win the Champions League. It's something we haven't done.
"Every time I play a game I put it behind me as soon as it's finished.
"Sometimes it's one of those days and today I put it right. I'm happy with my hat-trick, but tomorrow we move on."
