Theo Walcott admits his injuries this season have been frustrating, but now feels ready to aid Arsenal in their title challenge.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed more playing time of late, but also attracted criticism following a poor performance in an England friendly against Egypt.
But Walcott now feels he is ready to add a bit of spark into Arsenal's season, and claims he is good enough to be starting more games for Arsène Wenger's side.
Speaking to Arsenal TV Online, he said: "It's been very frustrating with injury after injury this season. To start that game (against Burnley) and play very well then not to play Porto was disappointing because I just want to play. I feel as fit as ever.
"It's nice to come on and make a difference but I want to be starting most games. If I can show my support by coming off the bench I'll do a job.
"I've missed a long period of games and hopefully I'll be like a new signing and can bring something different to the team that we haven't got and push on for this title."
Walcott came on as a sub and impressed in Arsenal's 2-1 win over Hull on Saturday, and was pleased with the spirit the side showed to win the match late on.
The winger thinks Arsenal are in with a real chance of the title, and that this season's race should be an exciting one.
He said: "That is the sign of champions, to go to the final minute. We're showing great character. It will be a very good one for the neutral."
