Defender Armand Traore has said that he aspires to play for French club Paris St Germain one day, and return to the city where he was born.
The Frenchman is our third choice left back behind Gaël Clichy and Keiran Gibbs, who is currently nursing a long-term injury. There is now an opportunity for Traore to step up to the mark and be understudy to Clichy.
However, Traore admits that should PSG come knocking, he will be considering their offer if the time is right, to essentially return to Paris one day.
Traore said: "PSG will always be PSG. They are a great club that made a whole generation of people dream during the years 1990-2000.
"And the Parc des Princes is a mythical stadium. Still today when I talk to other players, prestigious or not and of all nationalities, they talk to me about PSG, telling me that they dream about playing there one day.
"And moreover, for me, Paris represents a lot. It's the club of my dreams and I know that I will play there one day.
"If people from PSG contact me this summer, I would listen carefully to what they have to say, but I think it's too early for me to go to PSG.
"I prefer to stay longer in England but, God willing, I'll come there later. I really want it."
