In the wake of Arsenal's exciting Champions League quarter-final draw with Barcelona, manager Arsène Wenger has called for calm and maturity from his players.
The first leg against the European Champions takes place at the end of the month, and Wenger has reminded his players that there are big games in the league coming up before Barca.
Arsenal can go top by winning the first of those games against West Ham tomorrow, and Wenger insists that his mind is on winning that game, and not on the Champions League.
He insisted: "For the rest I believe it is much more important to focus on the West Ham game than the Barcelona draw.
"We have fought since August for the championship and it is important we keep our mind on what is vital to us - that is the championship, then we can go into the Champions League with the right belief.
"The West Ham game is the next game, and in football the next game makes your life.
"If we speak about West Ham instead of speaking about Barcelona, that is where we can show we have matured and that we are intelligent."
Wenger added that he did not fear Barcelona, and knows that at this stage of the Champions League you are always going to be up against difficult opponents.
He said: "I believe we will not be favourites but for me it will be a 50-50 game. That's how we have to take it.
"When you get to the quarter-finals of the Champions League you play good teams and Barcelona is a good team and that's it."
