Barcelona pair Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi have pointed to Cesc Fabregas as a big threat for Arsenal.
The two sides meet in the Champions League at the end of the month, and former Barca midfielder Fabregas has been highlighted as a quality player by two of his former team-mates from the Catalan's youth system.
Iniesta said: "Playing against Cesc is not easy and there will be a great battle in the midfield area.
"I have known Cesc for years and I'm sure we will have a hug before each game, but once the whistle goes I will be doing everything to win the game. Cesc is a fantastic player and we have to stop him, especially in the first game."
Messi added that the Arsenal captain is a key part to the way Arsène Wenger's side play, a slick attacking approach which the Argentine admits is similar to the style adopted at the Nou Camp.
He said: "Arsenal are a team to consider because of their fantastic build-up play. They are like us at Barca in so many ways.
"Rather than being from London, they should be from South America. Andrei Arshavin and Cesc Fabregas are touch-players I love to watch."
Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger added that he has heard great things about when Fabregas and Messi played together for the Barcelona youth sides.
He told Arsenal.com: "When I spoke with Fabregas' mother when she brought him here at the age of 16, she said always when they came home they won 6, 7, 8, 9-0 because always they had in the same team, Pique, Messi, Fabregas. You are not surprised."
