Andrei Arshavin says he is excited about playing Barcelona in the Champions League.
Arsenal have drawn the current European Champions in this season's quarter-finals, and many anticipate a good game between two attack-minded sides.
Russian winger Arshavin admits that, although his side must concentrate on winning their next game against Birmingham City, the tie against Barca looks like a mouth-watering clash.
He told his personal website: "I think that it would be interesting to play with Barcelona, especially at Camp Nou. Catalans show very good football. I hope that we will put up a good show.
"I am sure that this confrontation will impress football fans. As for me, I had long dreamed of playing at this stadium.
"But first we have to play well in Birmingham and after that think about Barcelona.
The 28-year-old feels Arsenal are in good shape after a hard-fought win over West Ham at the Emirates yesterday.
The Gunners continued their title challenge with a 2-0 win, but had to play the second half with ten men after Thomas Vermaelen was sent off.
Arshavin believes his side showed the character necessary to win games, but added that he would like to see the team win more comfortably.
He said: "In order to win our team had to show our character once again. I am glad that the guys worked great in the defence. Actually, they didn't allow our opponents to create a single 100% moment at our goal.
"We did well! It is very important. Although, on the other hand, I would like to see my team winning confidently and calmly."
