Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour is predicting a great career for youngster Jack Wilshere.
Parlour is a keen admirer of Arsenal's youth set-up, and thinks Wilshere is the pick of the bunch from Steve Bould's side that won the FA Youth Cup.
The double winner thinks Wilshere's loan move to Bolton will benefit the 18-year-old, who he believes needs more competitive games under his belt.
Speaking on Arsenal TV Online's feature, An Audience With Ray Parlour, he said: "There's a lot of players in that team that could make it, it's just a shame Arsenal's such a high level.
"These boys, if they don't make it at Arsenal are going to have a great career somewhere else."
"I think Jack had a little bit of a taste during the Emirates Cup and he loved it, he got man of the match twice, I thought he had a brilliant couple of games.
"I think he was getting a little bit frustrated, so I think Arsène's done exactly the right thing toughening him up a little bit.
"It's not like playing in the reserves, to play in a competitive match in the Premiership. I think Arsène Wenger's done exactly the right thing."
The 36-year-old, who played 339 games for Arsenal, believes that it's too early to tell who will make it, and that winning the FA Youth Cup doesn't necessarily mean a player is ready to make the step up to the first-team.
He said: "You've got to play 100 games in the first team before you've made it, it's no good playing five or ten games and being in and out of the team.
