Denilson is optimistic that the current squad are capable of ending the club's five year wait for silverware. With only the Premiership and Champions League trophies remaining, it's a bold claim from the young Brazilian.
The FA Cup in 2005 was the last time we won silverware, beating Manchester United on penalties, Patrick Vieira having played his last game for the red and white half of North London.
Arsenal are now in second place in the league, two points behind leaders Manchester United with 7 games left to play. It is a tight race to the finish, and we also have a quarter-final date with Spanish giants Barcelona in the Champions League.
Denilson feels that the current side has matured enough, especially over the last 12 months when they bounced back from heavy defeats to their title rivals, to claw themselves back to contention.
He said: "What's coming up is a great opportunity for all of us.
"I think we have gained from the experience of last season. We were in good positions in some of the competitions but missed a little bit.
"At the start of the season, though, I was telling people I thought we were ready because we were close and focused.
"And you can see now that we are strong and well placed.
"We have a good opportunity to win the Premier League and are in the last eight of the Champions League.
"The boss has just told us to focus and as players we know we need to win something."
