Theo Walcott is disappointed by the recent injury crisis at Arsenal, but believes they have a good enough squad to cope.
Arsenal's attack will need some reshuffling with the news of bad injuries to Cesc Fabregas and Andrey Arshavin.
Walcott brought the team something different from the bench against Barcelona and with a good performance and a crucial goal, the 21-year-old believes he's given his manager Arsène Wenger something to think about in terms of his team selection.
He told Arsenal TV Online: "There's so much competition, especially on the right side, hopefully I can give something different to the team.
"[The injuries to Cesc, Arshavin and Gallas] are massive blows. We always want our top players playing all the time, and those three especially are big players for us.
"It's great competition to have, and it's a headache for the manager having such great players in the team.
The England international believes the added pressure of competition is healthy for whoever starts games for the team, as they know they have to perform or they'll be substituted.
However, he cited Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo as a player who was good at making his presence felt, even on difficult days.
"If you're not doing it in the first hour you might get taken off.
"But I've watched so many players in recent years like Ronaldo, who's probably one of the best wingers around. He can be quiet for a lot of the game and suddenly just do a bit of magic and that's what everyone remembers, so you need to be effective."
