Nicklas Bendtner has criticised Wolves for their time-wasting tactics against Arsenal on Saturday.
Arsenal were frustrated in a tight game at the Emirates, knowing they needed a win to stay within three points of Chelsea.
Bendtner was pleased that Arsenal continued to play good football and that their patience was rewarded with the three points.
He said: "We knew Chelsea had won 2-1, but we kept composed to be honest and kept trying to pass the ball around.
"We didn't hoof the ball or anything. Wolves like to take three minutes every time they have a throw in and three minutes every time they have a goal kick.
"It was very frustrating when you are trying to play football. I don't know if it was a tactic. But we got what we deserved in the end [because] there was still a lot of time to be added on.
"They wasted a lot of time and never really had any chances to have a go at us. We kept creating chance after chance and got what we deserved in the end, which was a victory."
Bendtner's stoppage time winner was Arsenal's third in their last six Premier League games, and despite some tense affairs, the striker sees it as a positive that the team can keep up their level of performance for 90 minutes or more.
He added: "A last minute winner is good. We have to think of a game lasting 90 mins and it very important to keep going for 90 minutes.
"The belief and character we have showed in all the games is why we have got so many goals in the late stages."
