Nicklas Bendtner says playing in the North London derby is one of the biggest games of the season for him and his team-mates.
Arsenal travel to White Hart Lane next Wednesday looking for a vital three points for their title challenge.
Bendtner says a win against Spurs would be the perfect way for Arsenal to get their season back on track after their Champions League disappointment.
He said: "It would mean a lot to us because Tottenham are our main rivals. Beating them at their ground and maybe going second in the League, depending on other results, would be a massive thing for us.
"We only have the League to concentrate on now and we need to get five wins out of the last five games."
This game promises to be one of the toughest remaining on Arsenal's fixture list, as Bendtner believes Spurs have had an impressive season.
He said: "They always had the players but never seemed to get it going whereas this season they have. They deserve to be where they are."
Bendtner has been in fine form for the Gunners recently, and was delighted to be voted player of the month by Arsenal fans.
He said: "It is the first time I have won it so I am happy about that," he told Arsenal.com
"It is good that you can win prizes like this. It means a lot, especially when the fans vote. I am very happy with that."
