Early team news for our match against Manchester City this weekend is a mixed bag, and indicates that striker Andrey Arshavin is out, despite the Russian international hoping to be fit in time for the weekend.
Manuel Almunia will not be making a return to goal as he still has a wrist injury, so Lukasz Fabianski will continue in goal.
However, there is good news in that midfielder Alex Song could return to the side after missing the last three games due to an inflamed cartilage. He faces a fitness test this morning.
Manager Arsène Wenger told Arsenal TV Online on Thursday: "Maybe Song (could be off the injury list). He has a test tomorrow and we'll see. He is a question mark.
"Apart from that, nobody is back. Andrey Arshavin is out. Everyone else - Gallas, Almunia, Denilson - is still out too."
There was also good news in that Kieran Gibbs and Johan Djourou were nearing fitness, but possibly on Djourou would feature again before the season ends.
