There are reports this morning about Arshavin taking a snipe at the club's medical team, but when you read through his comments, they are perfectly valid and not sinister at all.
Andrey Arshavin has expressed his concern at the injuries suffered at the club this season, with long-term injuries effectively putting an end to our title challenge.
The Russian international speculated that the problem lies beyond his adaptability to the Premier League, when players like Robin van Persie, William Gallas and Cesc Fabregas are also getting injured.
At times this season we were also struggling with our left backs, with first and second choices being unavailable.
Arshavin's concerns highlight these circumstances, saying that there must be a common reason why these injuries are occurring, which is a valid concern.
Perhaps we should gambling on players' fitnesses and only play them when their ready, as seen with manager Arsène Wenger's decision to play an injured Cesc Fabregas.
Arshavin said: "This is a painful issue both for me and for the team I play for now.
"We need to do something to avoid it in the future. If it was only my own problem I would agree that it is my fault. That the Premier League is too hard for me with too many games etc.
"But when this happens almost to everyone for the last two or three years... I believe there should be some more global reason which we need to deal with.
"Something needs to be done about it in general and I talked to all Arsenal people who are responsible for medical care."
And with Arsenal out of the title race, Arshavin was asked which team he wanted to win the league title. He said that he wanted Chelsea to win, and his partner Yula wants Manchester United to.
