Sol Campbell hopes Arsenal can improve on a bad recent run of results and end the season on a high.
Arsenal had been in the title race until a terrible end-of-season run of defeats.
There is now an outside chance that the Gunners could miss out on third place, but Campbell has called for his team-mates to pick themselves up and win their last game at home to Fulham.
He said: "We could have made it a little bit easier for ourselves. We've had a couple of results not go our way, but it happens in football and we have to dust ourselves down and go again.
"Everybody goes through it. Most of the clubs have gone through patches where things don't seem to be going the way they want to.
"We all want clean sheets, we all want to play well and win three or four-nil, but sometimes it doesn't always happen like that.
"We've just got to keep on fighting, keep on training well, doing the right things and I'm sure it will come around."
Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has taken a lot of the blame for goals conceded at Wigan and Blackburn, but Campbell has stuck up for the young Pole, saying he will benefit from this first-team experience.
He said: "Everybody goes through stages. He's not played as many games as he would like to with Almunia being in there, so sometimes that helps when you play more games."
