It seems that young Jack Wilshere has done enough to impress Bolton manager Owen Coyle, who admitted he would like to bring Jack Wilshere back to the club on-loan next season.
The 18-year-old Englishman, tipped to be included into England manager Fabio Capello's World Cup squad for South Africa, has been a revelation to Arsenal fans this season, but manager Arsène Wenger is not ready to play Wilshere in his first team yet.
Wilshere joined the Trotters in January on-loan from Arsenal, and received a standing ovation from the home crowd when substituted during their 2-1 victory over Birmingham on Sunday in what they hoped would not be his final game for the club.
Coyle conceded that any possibility of Wilshere returning to the Reebok next season was down to Arsenal, specifically down to what plans Wenger has for his young talent.
He said: "I think the world of Jack. I think he's a terrific footballer and he's getting better with Premier League experience here.
"It's no shame to not be in the Arsenal team as they have quality players and a fantastic manager.
"I'll certainly be keen to try and do that but that will be Arsenal's decision. But the reason for bringing him off in the last minute was to get that ovation because he was deserving of it.
"He's earned that with how well he's done at Bolton Wanderers and we're delighted and feel very important to have had that.
"My job is to look to make sure the club improves on a year by year basis so we don't want to get ahead of ourselves."
"So I've come in and we'd like to think we've done reasonably well and made sure we are in the Premier League.
"What we have to do is look to add to that, get our own flavour and try to take this wonderful football club forward."
