Midfielder Samir NAsri has admitted that his relationship with fellow compatriot and team mate William Gallas is a difficult one, to the extent that the both are not speaking to one another.
Worryingly, Nasri also added that there were several other players in the squad who were not speaking to Gallas either, but stressed that this wasn't a problem for the club's team spirit.
Gallas has often been a controversial figure at the club, criticising several team mates in an autobiography. Those revelations resulted in the captaincy being stripped from him.
Speaking to the Sun, Nasri said: "I don't communicate with him, but I'm not the only one at Arsenal who doesn't have any communication with him.
"We are four or five, but that doesn't stop us fighting for each other on the pitch.
"You don't get 11 friends in a football team, there are people who have affinities and who get on, but on the pitch we fight for the same cause."
It's probably fair to say that Gallas strikes as a controversial figure at the club, but that hasn't stopped French coach Raymond Domenech picking him in the squad for the World Cup, and omitting Nasri.
