Nicklas Bendtner is the latest player to declare his desire to move to one of the big clubs in Spain.
Andrey Arshavin recently commented that playing for Barcelona would be a dream come true, and club captain Cesc Fabregas is also reported to be pining for a move to the Nou Camp.
Bendtner knows, however, that his big move won't come until he establishes himself as one of the world's best strikers.
But, as he has said before, that's something he is confident he will do.
He said: "My greatest ever dream is to play for the two biggest clubs in Spain. I think it is possible, and I know that I will go to the one that suits me the best.
"To be a fantastic player, one must prove that you can score goals. Not just over a season, but always."
Bendtner has earned mixed reviews from Arsenal fans during his last three seasons in the first-team, but has certainly shown an eye for goal.
The Danish striker, who will play for his country at this summer's World Cup, believes he needs to start topping the scoring charts and winning trophies for him to be taken seriously.
He explained: "I have not won anything yet, and I have not been top-scorer. But when I am people will be talking about myself in a different way.
"I hope that I will be a fantastic football player and that everyone will talk about me as one of the best strikers in the world."
