Theo Walcott is looking forward to playing in the Emirates Cup this year, and has praised the format of the competition.
The Arsenal winger believes the points rewarded for goals encourages more risky and attacking play.
The competition should attract big crowds, and the 21-year-old believes they will be entertained by the quality of the teams and of the attacking football on show.
He said: "There are three big clubs playing at this year's Emirates Cup, so it's going to be a good pre-season test for us.
"I know it's only pre-season, but you always like to start well at the Emirates Cup, in front of your own supporters. I'm really looking forward to getting back out there at Emirates Stadium and playing.
"Celtic are a very good team with great supporters, so we're looking forward to playing against them. It should make a very good atmosphere in the stadium on that day!
"Also, AC Milan are one of Europe's leading clubs, so of course, we can't wait to play them as well.
"[Points for goals] is a good idea in a pre-season competition. It will encourage people to shoot and do that bit extra. This will hopefully make it more exciting for the fans at the matches.
"However, I'm not so sure about points for goals in the Premier League, personally, I like it the way it is."
