Mathieu Flamini has refused to comment on what Cesc Fabregas should do with his future, in regard to a possible move to Barcelona this summer.
Flamini will be returning to the Emirates with AC Milan for the Emirates Cup, and says he is happy to be back.
But he claims if Fabregas leaves, he will support his friend, and cannot give him any more advice than that.
He said: "I would tell him to do what he feels, because it's a very personal choice and I cannot advise anything. He will have to do what he really wants. If he stays or goes, I will support him because he is a friend."
The Frenchman says he also keeps in touch with other players at Arsenal, and that his time at the club will always be special to him.
He said: "It is always a pleasure to come back to this stadium. I spent a lot of good moments here and have a lot of memories here.
"I had four amazing years with Arsenal, great memories and I still have good friends in this team.
"I stay in contact with them so for me it is something special and I will enjoy it to the maximum."
The midfielder has not enjoyed a great deal of first-team action at the San Siro, and has been linked with a return to the Premier League with Aston Villa and Newcastle.
On the rumoured interest, he said: "I didn't see that because I'm in Italy but they are two good clubs. Personally, I hope I'm going to play more than what I did in the last year. I hope this year will be better."
