Shakhtar Donetsk striker Eduardo da Silva does not want to face his former club in the Champions League.
The Brazilian, affectionately known as 'Dudu' during his time with Arsenal, parted ways with the club this summer in a deal thought to be worth around €7 million.
And whilst he's happy to be able to play regular football again, the memories of his three year association with a club that stood by him as he was recovering from a career-threatening injury are still too close to his heart.
Eduardo said: "I think this is good for me because I need to play.
"I look forward to play in the Champions League. I don't want to play against Arsenal.
"Of course. I have been there for three years and the supporters like me and I liked the supporters.
"Everyone at the club was great with me and I have a lot of friends there, but that is life."
