Manager Arsène Wenger has hailed the fluency of his team's 6-0 win over Blackpool on Saturday, with striker Theo Walcott scoring his first hat trick of the new season.
Further goals from Andrey Arshavin, Marouane Chamakh and Abou Diaby saw us notch our first win, and occupy second spot in the table, two points behind leaders Chelsea.
Blackpool had a harshly sent off for a professional foul, and were reduced to ten men before the break. That was when the floodgates open, though with having on rely registered one effort on goal before then, the result was hardly in doubt for the newcomers.
Wenger said: "I believe overall we played always well going forward but in fairness Blackpool when they had 11 on the pitch they looked like they could create.
"Blackpool tried to play in a positive way. We looked very dangerous when we won the ball and I believe we have matured because when we were 3-0 up at half-time we didn't become sloppy.
"We kept playing the way we wanted to play and overall it became a comfortable win.
