Striker Theo Walcott is in the form of his life, scoring 4 league goals already this season, and many still believe that at 21-years-old, the England international's best years are still ahead of him.
But Walcott's career at Arsenal has not been fraught with disappointment. The former Southampton teenager has had to endure some pretty harsh, but mostly fair, criticism from his own fans.
Yet manager Arsène Wenger perseveres in the young winger cum striker, and Walcott insists that there is plenty more to come.
Walcott said: "I always want to improve. I'm still 21 and I want to play every game when I can, especially after last season with so many injuries.
"But at 21 I'm playing for Arsenal and England and that is not a bad achievement so far.
"I am working hard and listening to the right people. I listen to my managers and the players. Those are the most important people to listen to.
"I have people on my side and people not on my side. You have ups and downs. It's how you react to them that counts.
"It has gone very well so far for club and country. I had a very good pre-season, no injuries, I had a nice break over the summer and everything is going well so far.
"I stay behind [in training] to improve on things like the final ball, the end product, stuff like that. I practice crossing and finishing and penalties. I'm not the best at penalties.
"Vito Mannone goes in goal and I work with Bacary Sagna on the right, working on that combination and putting crosses in for the strikers."
