Arsenal defender Armand Traore has revealed he turned down other offers to go on loan to Serie A giants Juventus.
The French full-back found himself far down the pecking order at the Emirates, behind first choice Gaël Clichy and promising England youngster Kieran Gibbs.
Despite enjoying a small run in the first-team last season, Traore jumped at the chance to join a club of Juventus' size.
However, he still believes Arsenal to be an equally big club, and hopes to return there.
He explained: "Juventus are a very, very important club. I decided to come here despite receiving other offers.
"The moment the idea of the Bianconeri was suggested, I immediately said I wanted to come here.
"There aren't many differences between Juve and Arsenal. Juve have won more titles, but they are both big sides."
Traore has also spent time on loan at Portsmouth in the past, and was a target for Premier League outfit Birmingham City, as well as Benfica this summer before making the move to Turin.
