Striker Robin van Persie has been ruled out till mid-October, after suffering an ankle injury in the match against Blackburn Rovers.
It was originally thought that the injury would rule the Dutch international for two weeks at the most, but that's changed to six weeks after further assessment.
The injury also means that van Persie will miss the crunch North London derby this month, and Arsenal will be light upfront, with today's injury to Theo Walcott.
